The Cider Shed
The Cider Shed is a one-bedroom place on our farm in Beercrocombe, Somerset. It sleeps two. It got a 4 Star rating last time it was assessed.
It's a single-storey building, so everything is on the same level. There's a patio area with a table and chairs outside your door. The view is just fields and trees. It's very quiet out here.
Inside, it's one room that's a kitchen, sitting area, and bedroom all together. There's a separate bathroom with a shower. It's got a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We've also put in an electric vehicle charger.
You're welcome to bring one dog. It's a working farm, so they must be kept on a lead around the livestock.
Beercrocombe itself is just a hamlet. The nearest pub is about a mile away in Curry Rivel. Taunton is roughly a 15-minute drive for supermarkets and things like that.
For walks, the Quantock Hills are about a 20-minute drive north. To the south, you've got the Blackdown Hills. Glastonbury Tor is about half an hour away. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea is roughly 40 minutes.
