This is Freestone House. It's in Ashby St Ledgers, which is a small village. The barn is semi-detached. It's big, sleeps ten people.
There are five bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. That's useful with a big group. One bedroom is on the ground floor. The stairs are normal.
The main room is open plan, kitchen and dining together. There's a big table. There's also a separate sitting room with a woodburner and another smaller snug room with a piano in it. The garden is enclosed at the back, with a patio and a view over fields. There's a barbecue. At the front there's another patio area with a water feature.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The facilities list is accurate. It has things like a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
The village is quiet. For a shop or a pub, Crick is the nearest place, about ten minutes by car. They've got a few pubs, a tearoom, and a garden centre there. It's on the canal, so you can walk along that.
Rugby is about fifteen minutes away for more options. If you want a day out, you can be in Warwick or Leamington Spa in under half an hour. The National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Canons Ashby. Northampton is about twenty minutes the other way.
That's pretty much it. It's a good house for a family get-together or a group of friends because of the space and the bathrooms.
