Southfield Workshop Braunston

Southfield Workshop is a studio apartment in Braunston, Northamptonshire. It's one of three places on site. This one used to be a workshop for a business, so it's open plan. One end is the bedroom area with the shower room next to it, the other end is the living space with a small kitchen.

It sleeps two, in one double bed. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. Because it's converted from a workshop, the space is all on one level, which some people find easier.

It's detached and quiet. You have your own patio and garden area. There's parking right outside. The view is over a paddock to fields. We allow one well-behaved dog.

Braunston is known for the canal. The towpath is at the bottom of the paddock, so you can walk straight onto it. There are three pubs in the village that do food, all within walking distance. There's a village shop with a post office and a butcher too.

If you like cycling or walking, the routes from here are good. You're near the borders of Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. Silverstone circuit is about a 20-minute drive. Towcester Racecourse is about 15 minutes. Bletchley Park is around 40 minutes away.

For canal history, the Stoke Bruerne Canal Museum is roughly half an hour by car. The local area is managed by the Northamptonshire Countryside Service if you want walking maps.

Facilities included are WiFi, a TV, bedding and towels, and bike storage. There's no full oven, but there is a hob, microwave, and fridge.
