Grace
The property is called Grace. It's a shepherd's hut on a farm in Braunston. It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's detached, so you're on your own. It looks out over the Grand Union Canal and fields. There's a patio with a firepit and an outdoor copper bath. It's got a wood burner inside and underfloor heating.
You can walk straight out from the hut. There are footpaths through the fields and along the canal towpath. You'll see the farm's animals: sheep, cattle, ponies, chickens. There's a local boat shop that sells ice cream. Fishing is allowed from the bottom of the field in the canal.
A few pubs are within walking distance along the towpath. The nearest is about a 20 minute walk.
If you drive, Silverstone is about 25 minutes away. Bletchley Park is around 40 minutes. Towcester Racecourse is roughly 20 minutes. The borders of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire are close.
For facilities: there's a BBQ, TV, bedding and towels are included, and you can park right by the hut. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The owner can sometimes provide breakfast packs, BBQ packs or firewood if you arrange it in advance.
