Grace Braunston

'Grace' is a shepherd's hut on our farm in Braunston. It's for two people. You'll see it on the lower part of the field, looking out over the Grand Union Canal.

It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's got a wood burner and underfloor heating, so it's cosy in winter. There's a small kitchen area, a shower room, and a double bed. The main thing is the outdoor copper bath on the decking. It's private, but you are in a field. There's also a firepit.

You can walk straight from the hut. There are paths along the canal towpath and through the farm fields. We have sheep, cattle, and chickens, so you'll see them about. The Boat Shop, which you can see from the hut, sells good ice cream. The local pub, The Boat House, is about a 15-minute walk along the canal.

If you want to drive, it's quiet country roads around here. Silverstone is about 20 minutes away. Towcester Racecourse is about the same. Further out, Bletchley Park is maybe 40 minutes. You're close to the borders with Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, so there's a lot of countryside to explore.

Parking is right by the hut. We include all bedding and towels. One well-behaved dog is welcome. We can provide breakfast packs, BBQ boxes, and things like logs if you want to order them in advance.
