This is Rebecca's Cottage in Welton. It's a semi-detached stone cottage, about 200 years old. It's next to the village pub, which is handy. You get a £20 voucher for them with your booking.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is useful. One bathroom is en-suite to the main bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after. There are some low beams inside, so mind your head.
The garden is fully enclosed. It's good for dogs and gets the evening sun. We leave a dog bed, some towels, bowls and a few treats for your pets. You can bring up to two dogs.
The pub next door is friendly. They do food in the evenings and sometimes have live music. The village has a shop about a mile and a half away. There's a Soapbox Derby event here once a year, which is a bit of fun.
For a day out, Daventry Country Park is just a mile away. It's good for a walk around the reservoir. The Heart of the Shires shopping village is about four miles off. Draycote Water is nearby for sailing. If you fancy a drive, Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Silverstone are all within about half an hour.
In terms of what's here, there's parking, a wood burner, a BBQ, TV, wifi, and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are provided.
