Richmond Cottage

Richmond Cottage is in Welton, near Daventry in Northamptonshire. It's a semi-detached cottage, about 200 years old. It's right next to the village pub. You can get a voucher for them.

It sleeps four people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite shower room. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-kept. The stairs are regular cottage stairs, a bit steep as you'd expect.

The pub next door is friendly and does food in the evenings. They sometimes have live music. The garden is fully enclosed. It gets the evening sun. We leave a dog bed, towels, bowls, and treats if you're bringing a pet.

For walks, Daventry Country Park is about a mile away. There's a reservoir walk there. The Heart of the Shires shopping village is under four miles away for cafes and some shops.

If you're driving out, Silverstone is about half an hour away. So is Warwick Castle. Stratford-upon-Avon is roughly 40 minutes. For sailing or walking, Draycote Water and Pitsford Reservoir are nearby.

In the cottage you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible to get in, but the stairs inside are the main feature so the upstairs isn't accessible.
