This is Holdenby, a glamping pod on our farm near Ravensthorpe. It's one of three here, the others being Althorp and Coton. They're all identical really. You're on your own, it's detached, with your own deck and a view out over the fields.
It says it sleeps three. There's a double bed and a small double sofa bed, so it's best for two adults or a couple with one child. Everything's in one open-plan room. The bathroom is ensuite. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's clean and modern. You get bedding and towels.
Outside, you've got a deck with furniture and a BBQ area. You can see the farm animals from there. There's woodland on the farm to walk in, and public footpaths lead out from the gate. If you're bringing horses, we have paddocks and you can hack out from here. Jennie at JK Equestrian on the farm does riding lessons.
The local pub is about two and a half miles away in the village. It does food.
You're well placed for a few things if you want to go out. Althorp House is about ten minutes by car. Holdenby House is even closer, maybe five minutes. For gardens, Coton Manor is lovely and Castle Ashby is good too. Silverstone Circuit is within half an hour if that's your interest.
For planning, the main historical and garden sites are linked here: National Trust Northamptonshire and English Heritage.
Facilities are what you'd expect: wifi, TV, parking right outside. No pets. The other two pods are nearby, so you might see other guests coming and going. We can sort out breakfast or BBQ packs from the farm if you ask beforehand.
