Sheldon House Braunston

Sheldon House is a cottage in Braunston in Northamptonshire. It's over two hundred years old, and it used to be a hardware shop.

It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped. The stairs are narrow and steep, so you need to be careful on them.

You've got a living room, a separate dining room, and a decent kitchen. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. We take up to two. Bedding and towels are included.

The village is nice. There are a couple of pubs you can walk to. The Grand Union Canal runs through it, and you can walk to the marina to watch the boats. You can hire a narrowboat from there if you want.

Within about half an hour, you can get to Daventry Country Park for walks. Canons Ashby, which is National Trust, is about twenty minutes away. Rugby town is fifteen minutes in the car if you're interested in the sport. Althorp House is about a twenty-five minute drive.

The facilities are what you'd expect: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's fishing and golf nearby, and you can find places to ride horses locally too.
