Chapel Barn Pedwell

Chapel Barn is in Pedwell, Somerset. It's a converted barn next to our place, but it's all yours when you're here. The place is for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, a table, and a sitting area with a wood burner. The stairs go up to a galleried bedroom with a king-size bed and a walk-in wardrobe. The beams are exposed, they're quite low in a couple of spots so watch your head.

Outside there's a private, enclosed patio garden. It's a sun-trap in the afternoon. You can bring one dog.

For facilities, you've got the things listed: parking for one car, WiFi, a TV, bedding and towels are included.

For places to go, you're about halfway between the Mendip Hills and the Quantock Hills. Both are good for walking. Cheddar Gorge is about 25 minutes away by car. Wells, with its cathedral, is maybe 20 minutes. Glastonbury is roughly the same. If you want a city day, Bath or Bristol are both within a 40 minute drive.
