The Pennings is a house in Greylake, Somerset. It's detached. It's a new build, so it's all pretty straightforward and open plan.
It sleeps six. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. Two of the bedrooms have French doors out to the courtyard. You can bring one dog.
Inside, it's basically one big room downstairs for the kitchen, dining, and living area. The kitchen's got an island, a big fridge freezer, and a couple of wine fridges. There's a wood burner in the living space. Off that, there's another sitting room with a big TV.
There's also a games room with table football and a dartboard. It's got a little kitchenette in there too, just a sink and worktop.
The garden is a good size, fully enclosed. There's a kids' playset and a pétanque court laid out on the lawn.
It's a quiet, rural spot. For shops and things, you'll need to drive to Bridgwater, which is about 15 minutes. The coast is about half an hour away. Weston-super-Mare has the long beach and pier. Clevedon is nicer for a walk along its Victorian pier.
Further afield, Bath is roughly 50 minutes. The Roman Baths are the main thing there. Cheddar Gorge is also about 50 minutes for the caves and walks.
For local walks and nature, the Somerset Levels are right on the doorstep. The RSPB Greylake reserve is just up the road.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, parking. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot, and highchair.
