This is Orchard Barn in Oxenpill, near Glastonbury. It's a single-storey barn we converted, so no stairs at all. It's in our garden, but you can't see our house from it. It feels pretty private.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both have their own bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which just means it's been finished to a high standard. It’s comfortable.
The village itself is quiet. There's a shop and a pub about a ten minute walk away. The pub does food.
You're right on the Somerset Levels. If you like walking or birdwatching, it's ideal. The Ham Wall nature reserve is nearby. You can see the starling murmurations from there in winter. We've seen otters in the ditches too.
Glastonbury is three miles one way. You've got the Tor and the Abbey. Wells is about ten miles the other. The cathedral is worth seeing, and the Bishop's Palace. For a big day out, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole caves are within half an hour. Bath and Bristol are about an hour's drive.
It's got what you'd expect: parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a woodburner. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning trips, these are useful: National Trust Somerset, Somerset Levels, and RSPB Ham Wall.
