Yew Tree Barn is a converted barn on the edge of Higham village. It's detached so you're on your own. The main house on the estate was painted by Constable, which is a nice bit of history. It's in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, so it's very well finished and comfortable. Everything is included, like bedding and towels. There's a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and parking right there.
Outside, there's a private paved terrace with a BBQ. It's a quiet spot under some trees. There's also a shared outdoor heated swimming pool you can use from May to mid-September. It's kept around 26 degrees.
Higham village is walkable. There are two pubs, a post office, a bakery, and a takeaway. You don't need to cook if you don't want to.
For walks, you're right in the countryside. Rowley Grove nature reserve is nearby. For a day out, the Suffolk coast is about half an hour's drive. Places like Aldeburgh are easy to get to. There are often summer festivals and events around there.
