Swanage Beach House is on Woodside Road. It's about a five minute walk to the beach, maybe less. The house is big and modern, sleeps twelve.
There are six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, which is handy for a large group. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped. Everything is in good order. The kitchen is large and has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a jukebox in there too, if you fancy that.
The beach at Swanage is good. Sandy and safe for swimming. The town itself is a classic seaside place. There's a pier, some nice independent shops, and a few decent pubs. You can get fish and chips.
A short drive north gets you to Studland Bay and the National Trust heathland. The chain ferry from there goes over to Sandbanks if you want to explore that way.
Corfe Castle is about 15 minutes inland. It's a proper ruin on a hill, good for a visit. The whole area is part of the Jurassic Coast. You can find fossils on some of the beaches if you know where to look.
Facilities wise: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot available. WiFi is included. Pets are welcome, up to two. There's parking on the drive.
