Roosters Retreat

Roosters Retreat is a first floor apartment. It’s part of an old listed cottage, but it’s been done up inside. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One has a king size bed, the other has twins.

It’s got a 4 Star rating. That means it’s comfortable and well-equipped. The main living space is open plan with a high ceiling. There’s a small sitting-out area right outside the doors. Parking for one car is just outside.

The location is good. It’s less than a mile from Minehead seafront. Shops and places to eat are easy to get to. You can walk to the beach.

If you like walking, you’re set. Exmoor National Park is right there. The Southwest Coast Path starts in Minehead. The town itself has the beach, a harbour, gardens, and the usual seaside things.

Other things around here: the West Somerset Railway steam trains are based at Minehead. For a good day out, Lynton and Lynmouth are about a 45 minute drive, over the moor.

Facilities include wifi, a dishwasher, a shower room, and TV. Bedding and towels are provided. There’s bicycle storage. No pets allowed.
