Glanllyn Lodge is in Llanuwchllyn, near Bala. It's a detached bungalow. Sleeps five in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms, one is an en-suite shower room off the main bedroom. The other has a jacuzzi bath.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well equipped. The garden is enclosed and quite big. There's a patio area with a barbecue.
The property is next to a touring caravan park. It's open from Easter to mid-October. It's generally quiet, but you will see it from the garden.
You've got direct access to the path around Bala Lake from the gate. It's good for walking, cycling, or getting straight onto the water if you've brought kayaks or paddleboards. The path goes all the way into Bala town, which is about three miles.
Bala itself has shops, a couple of supermarkets, pubs and places to eat. The National Trust Snowdonia page is useful for walks. The Snowdonia National Park site has route ideas and parking info.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got the National White Water Centre for rafting at Frongoch. Arenig Fawr is a good hill for a walk without the crowds of the bigger peaks. You can drive to Corwen for the Llangollen Railway steam trains.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. Sorry, no pets.
