South Lodge Banchory

South Lodge is a detached house just outside Banchory, in Aberdeenshire. It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There's one family bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.

You can bring one dog with you. There's a garden and patio area, with a table and chairs. It's a good spot for a morning coffee. Inside, there's a wood burning stove in the living room which is nice in the evening. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site.

It's a rural spot, so you'll need a car. Banchory town is a couple of miles away for shops, cafes, and a few restaurants. The River Dee is nearby for fishing.

Balmoral Castle is about a 20 minute drive west. You can visit the grounds and gardens when they're open to the public. For walking, the Cairngorms National Park is within a 30 minute drive. There are also local golf courses if that's your thing.
