32 Queens Court

This place is 32 Queens Court. It’s a semi-detached villa in Inchmarlo, in Aberdeenshire. It’s part of the Inchmarlo Golf Centre, so you're right next to the 9-hole Queens Golf Course. The surroundings are quiet, mostly woodland.

It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s got a 3 Star rating. That means it’s comfortable and clean, not overly luxurious.

The layout is a bit different. The main living area is upstairs. It’s open plan, with a kitchen, dining, and sitting area all together. There’s a balcony there too, which is good because you get the views over the golf course and woods. The bedrooms are all on the ground floor.

Facilities wise, it’s got the things you’d expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking on site, including an electric vehicle charger, and a place to store bicycles.

You can walk to the golf clubhouse, about 200 yards. They’ve got a restaurant and bar there. The nearest proper shop and a pub are about half a mile away, in Banchory. Banchory is a nice town, about a ten minute drive. It’s got decent shops and a few places to eat.

The location is good for exploring Royal Deeside. You're right on the NE250 driving route. For walking, you've got the woodlands and the River Dee nearby. The Linn of Dee and Bridge of Feugh are good spots, you might see salmon jumping there.

There are a lot of castles within a 30 minute drive. Crathes Castle and its gardens are close by, and Drum Castle is not far either. Both are National Trust for Scotland properties. Balmoral is about a 40 minute drive. If you go towards the coast, the ruins of Dunnottar Castle are about 45 minutes away.

If you want to go further, Glenshee ski area is just over an hour's drive. Aberdeen city centre is about 40 minutes by car.

You can bring up to two dogs. If you need more space, you can rent the house next door, number 22, as well.
