West Lodge Banchory

West Lodge is in Banchory, on Deeside. It's a detached bungalow, so everything is on the ground floor. That's handy.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and tidy.

The garden is enclosed. There's parking for two cars right outside.

You're right across the road from the golf course. The town centre is a five minute walk, so you've got shops, a couple of pubs that do food, and cafes. It's easy.

For a walk, you can go down to the River Dee. The Falls of Feugh are less than a mile away. It's a good spot to watch for salmon.

If you want to drive out, Crathes Castle is about ten minutes away. The gardens are nice. National Trust for Scotland Crathes Castle. Drum Castle is similar distance. Dunnottar Castle is further, about 45 minutes, but it's impressive on the cliff edge.

Aberdeen is half an hour by car if you need a city. Braemar and Balmoral are about an hour's drive west, up the Dee valley.

In the house, there's a woodburning stove. We provide the wood. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.

You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is fully enclosed, but check the fence is high enough if you've a jumper.
