Toll Bridge Lodge
Toll Bridge Lodge is in Deebank, near Banchory in Aberdeenshire. It’s a detached bungalow, so you’re on your own. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, so it’s comfortable and well-kept.
The main thing about the place is the location. It’s right opposite the Bridge of Feugh. The Falls of Feugh are literally over the road. You can watch the salmon jumping from the garden or the living room. When the river’s high, you can hear the falls inside. It’s a good spot.
Banchory town is about a mile away. That’s where you’ll find the shops, places to eat, and things like that. It’s a handy base for Deeside.
For days out, Crathes Castle is very close. It’s a proper castle with gardens, run by the National Trust. The Royal Deeside Railway at Milton of Crathes is nearby too, if you like steam trains. The ski slopes at the Lecht and the Whisky Trail are a longer drive, maybe an hour or so, but it makes for a good trip if you fancy it.
The place has parking, a washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
