Park Lodge is in Adendale, Aberdeenshire. It's a detached wooden lodge, one of three on the site, but they're well spaced out so you get plenty of privacy. It's set up on a bit of a rise in eight acres of woodland, so the main thing you get is the view across to Cairn O’Mount.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The living area is open-plan with a high ceiling and big doors that open straight out onto a deck. You can sit out there with a drink and just look at the view.
The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a cot if you've got a little one. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. You can bring one dog.
It's a rural spot. The nearest shop and pub are in Banchory, about five miles away. Banchory is a nice town for a wander, with some decent places to eat.
If you're looking for things to do, you're right on Deeside. Balmoral Castle isn't far. For walking, the Cairngorms National Park is within half an hour. Aberdeen is about a 30 minute drive if you want a city day for shopping or the theatre. In winter, the ski resorts at the Lecht and Cairngorm are also within easy reach.
