Park Lodge Adendale

This is Park Lodge. It's a detached house in Adendale, Aberdeenshire. It's on its own in about eight acres of woodland, so it's quiet. The views are good, mostly looking towards Cairn O'Mount.

It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable. One bathroom and two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. The entrance and the living area are all on one level and there are no steps, so it's suitable for wheelchairs or if stairs are a problem.

The main living space is open plan with a high ceiling. Big concertina doors open straight out onto a decked area. You can sit out there with the view. The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine.

You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is right outside.

The nearest shop and pub are about five miles away in Banchory. Banchory is a decent size, with proper shops and places to eat. For a big day out, Aberdeen is about half an hour by car. It has everything you'd expect from a city.

You're right in the middle of Royal Deeside here. Balmoral Castle is close by. There's a huge amount of walking right from the door, on moorland and in forests. For cycling, fishing, or horse riding, it's all nearby. Lochnagar is the big mountain in view. In winter, the ski resorts at The Lecht and Cairngorm are within an hour or so.
