Cairn View Whitestone

Cairn View is in Whitestone, near Banchory in Aberdeenshire. It's one of three lodges on the site, but they're spread out over eight acres so you won't be on top of each other. Ours is detached.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-finished.

The main thing is the view. It looks straight out towards Cairn O'Mount. The living room has big doors that open up onto a deck, so you can sit outside with that view. It's an open-plan room with a high ceiling.

You're in the woods here, but it's not remote. Banchory is about five miles away for shops and places to eat. There's a shop and a pub about five miles away too.

For things to do, you're right in the middle of Royal Deeside. There's walking and cycling everywhere. Balmoral Castle is nearby. Aberdeen is about half an hour's drive if you want a city day for shopping or the theatre. In winter, the ski resorts like the Lecht and Cairngorm are within reach.

Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. The parking is right there. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one dog. There's a cot if you need it.
