Kimberdale Lodge is in Baldwinholme, just outside Carlisle. It's a detached lodge, so no neighbours on the other side of a wall. It's in a big garden with a field view.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on one level, which is handy. The main room has those big patio doors that let a lot of light in, and they open straight out to the garden.
There's a covered bit round the back. Useful for muddy boots or wet coats.
You're right in the countryside here, but the M6 and Carlisle are only about ten minutes by car. That makes it easy for getting about. Hadrian's Wall is very close. For a walk, the National Trust sites along the Wall are a good start. The Solway Coast is about twenty minutes away if you fancy the beach.
Carlisle has the castle, a museum, shops and places to eat. If you want the Lakes, it's roughly half an hour to the northern bits like Keswick.
What's here: a washing machine, TV, WiFi, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
