Kimberdale Lodge is a detached lodge in Baldwinholme. It's in the countryside, just outside Carlisle.
The lodge sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and tidy inside. The main room is big and has floor-to-ceiling doors out to the garden, so it gets a lot of light. There's a cover outside the back door which is useful for muddy boots or wet coats.
The garden is quite large. It looks out over fields.
You're on the edge of the Lake District here. The M6 motorway is about ten minutes away, so it's easy to get to the lakes or up into Scotland. The start of Lake District National Park is about a 20 minute drive. Hadrian's Wall is very close, you can be at Birdoswald Fort in maybe 15 minutes.
Locally, there are quiet country lanes for walking or cycling. The Solway Coast is about 20 minutes by car. Carlisle has the castle, museums, shops and places to eat.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
