Chestnuts

Chestnuts is out in Moorhouse. It's a new build, finished in 2022. It's detached, so you've got it to yourselves. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, two of them en-suite. It's got a 5 Star rating.

The main bit is one big open space downstairs for the kitchen, dining and sitting area. The kitchen is good if you like to cook. There are big bi-fold doors out to the garden, which is handy.

It's on the edge of the village. There's a pub you can walk to. From here, you can get to Carlisle quickly, or over the border into Scotland. The roads round here are quiet for cycling.

Hadrian's Wall path is nearby for walking. The Lake District National Park is about a thirty minute drive. So is the Solway coast.

Inside, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive. No pets.
