Townend Cottage, Wiggonby. It's a semi-detached cottage, sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it's pretty well kept and everything works.
It's quiet here, a small farming village. The cottage has an enclosed garden and a little garden room you can sit in. The living room has a wood burner. The place is decorated for Christmas in December.
You're about two miles from a shop and a pub. For a beach, Allonby is good, about half an hour west. It's a long, sandy beach. Looking the other way, the edge of the Lake District is about half an hour's drive. Keswick and Cockermouth are nice market towns to visit. Derwentwater and Windermere are there if you want a boat trip.
The Watchtree nature reserve is right next to the village. Carlisle isn't far if you need a bigger town.
It’s got parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
