Kerrytonlia Cottage
Kerrytonlia Cottage is on the Isle of Bute, near Mount Stuart. It's a detached house, so you've got your own space. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two of the bathrooms are en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too. Bedding and towels are included.
The main thing is the view. It looks directly over Kerrylamont Bay. The beach is about 25 yards from the gate. You can walk straight down.
Inside, there's a big living room and a smaller snug room. The stairs are fine. Some of the ceilings are a bit lower upstairs, so taller people should mind their heads.
Rothesay is the main town. It's got supermarkets, a few restaurants, and the ferry terminal. The castle is worth a visit. The island has a good network of quiet roads for cycling. There are three golf courses if that's your thing.
For a day out, Mount Stuart House and Gardens is very close. Further afield, you can get the short ferry from Rhubodach to Colintraive on the Cowal Peninsula. From there you can drive to Loch Lomond in under an hour.

Parking is on site. No pets, sorry. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
