Chandlers Apartment is in Ascog on the Isle of Bute. It's a detached ground floor apartment. The immediate setting is rural, but you're right by the shore. The view from the windows and the patio is over open water.
It sleeps ten people. There are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, so it's been finished to a high standard. Everything feels new and well-maintained.
You have a private patio with outdoor furniture. It gets the sun. The garden area is shared with the other property on the site, but it's a large space.
As for facilities: it's open plan inside. There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are all included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right there.
The beach is about 50 yards away. For a swim, Ettrick Bay or Scalpsie Bay are better. Scalpsie has a seal colony you can often see.
Rothesay, the main town, is a short drive. It has shops, places to eat, Rothesay Castle, and a museum. The ferry from Wemyss Bay gets you there. The island is good for walking and cycling. Loch Fad, which is stocked with rainbow trout, is about three miles away if you fancy fishing.
Further out, you can catch the ferry from Rhubodach to Colintraive on the mainland. That puts you on the Cowal Peninsula for exploring. The ferry from Portavadie goes to Tarbert in Kintyre. Ferry trips to Islay and Jura are also possible from there.
