Osocozee Millport

Osocozee is an apartment in Millport, on the Isle of Cumbrae. It's ground floor, which might be useful to know. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The main thing about it is the location. It's a very short walk from the seafront. You can see the bay from nearby. There are palm trees along the promenade, which always looks a bit odd in Scotland but it's nice. You'll see plenty of boats.

Millport itself is a small seaside town. There are a few cafes, shops, and places to eat. It's quiet. There's a local pub. The whole island is good for a gentle cycle or a walk. You can hire bikes when you get off the ferry. The golf course is just outside the town.

The place itself is straightforward. It's all on one level. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The shower is over the bath.

If you're interested in wildlife, the island is good for that. Birdwatchers come here. The Marine Research Station has a small museum and aquarium you can visit. They've also got what's called the smallest cathedral in Europe, and a very narrow house.

You get the ferry from Largs to get here. It's a short crossing. Once you're on the island, everything in Millport is within walking distance.
