Bexhill-on-Sea is the birthplace of British motor racing, home of the De La Warr Pavilion where Bob Marley’s first ever UK gig was held in July 1972 and Guinness World Record breaker for the largest Charleston dance. It was the 8th Earl de la Warr who offered his sea front estate, because of its proximity to the ferries, to the continent on which to host the first international motor race meeting in this country in 1902. Bexhill seems to have retained all the best qualities of English life having managed to avoid most of the unpleasant influences that seem to have plagued so many other towns. Bexhill is the quintessential Sussex seaside town that has a plethora of bars and restaurants to enjoy, and all within a very short walking distance. The owner is going to supply you with parking permits for your stay and parking is very conveniently located right outside the property next to the beach. This really is the ideal place to stay and enjoy all that East Sussex has to offer. Due to the layout of the property, this is not suitable for young children. Beach 20 yards.
