Adelaide's Retreat
Adelaides Retreat is a very specious basement flat positioned right on the sea front on the magnificent St Leonards-on-Sea. There is paid parking on the sea front but as you can imagine this is a very busy part of the town. Walking down the stairs to your front door there is space for some bikes to be stored securely and can be grabbed conveniently should you wish to take a bike ride. Right at the front of the apartment is your main reception room which is open plan with the kitchen and dining room. To the rear of the property, you will find the bedroom with doors leading to the outdoor space and a small courtyard. Next to this is the bathroom and is a great base for a British seaside beach stay.
This is quintessentially your British Beach stay in the historic town of St Leonards-on-Sea. The town is full of beautiful Regency architecture. During its 19th-century heyday, it was considered one of the most desirable places to go if wanting a retreat from London. Hastings is literally just 5 minutes up the road with its plethora of eateries and attractions with the famous old town and the fishing net huts. You are just a 10-minute walk from St Leonards Warrior Square train station so there is no need to take the car and worry about parking when you can just jump on your bike and catch the train and ride to your holiday home. This is a delightful town to visit both in the summer and winter and plenty to do locally with theatres scattered throughout the area and plenty of historic places to visit. The owner of the property really wants you to enjoy your stay at Adelaides Retreat and this has recently been decorated and renovated with the holiday maker in mind. This is most definitely a place where you are going to make amazing memories and the beach is a found directly outside your front door and across the road.
