The town of Bridgend is approximately 8 miles away and has an abundance of shops. For beach lovers, Porthcawl beach is great for a walk, or for those looking for water sports. Margam Park is perfect for the children and there is the fabulous Go Ape High Wire Forest Adventure around 13 miles away.
