Stonefold Cottage is in Broad Oak, just outside the village of Waberthwaite. It's a detached stone cottage, so no one's sharing walls with you. The garden is yours.
It sleeps six, across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom, with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The front door opens straight into the living room, which is quite common for cottages round here.
You've got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and a patio with a barbecue. It comes with a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right outside.
The cottage is in a quiet, rural spot. There's a local pub about a ten minute walk away. The Cumbrian coast is close by for a walk, and you can be in the south-western Lake District or the Eskdale valley in under half an hour.
For a day out, Muncaster Castle is about a 20 minute drive. The Lake District National Park site is useful for planning walks. The National Trust also looks after a lot of the local landscape.
No pets allowed, I'm afraid.
