The Dairy is on our farm down New Lane. It's a studio cottage for two people. It's all on one level, so no stairs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped, but it's not a luxury hotel. It's a converted farm building. You've got your own front door that opens onto a cobbled courtyard. There's a patio area with a table and chairs that's just for you.
The place is open plan. The bedroom area is part of the main living space. The bathroom is separate with a shower. Everything you need is there: TV, WiFi, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included.
You're in the countryside here. It's quiet. The farm has about six acres of garden and fields you can walk around. For a pint or some dinner, the nearest pub is about a mile and a half away. There's a shop a bit closer.
You can drive to the coast in about ten minutes. Southport is eight miles away. It's a traditional seaside town with a long beach. Formby is about half an hour's drive. The beach there is nice and so are the pine woods.
Martin Mere Wetland Centre is only two miles down the road. It's good for a visit if you like wildlife. The National Trust's Formby coast is also within half an hour if you want to see the red squirrels. WWT Martin Mere and National Trust Formby.
We've got three other cottages here if you're coming with more people. They can be booked together.
There's a highchair and a cot available if you need one. No pets, sorry.
