Stuarts Farm Barn
Stuarts Farm Barn is in Brighouse Green, near Lathom. It's a converted barn, detached. The countryside around it is very open, fields mainly. You can see a long way on a clear day, towards the Lakes and the Pennines.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's quite handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a comfortable place, well-finished. Underfloor heating on the ground floor. The living space is open plan.
There's a private hot tub outside. You also get shared use of an indoor swimming pool on the farm. That's a nice extra, especially if the weather's not great.
You're a about a mile from Westhead village. There's a pub that does food, about a fifteen minute walk. Ormskirk is two miles away. It's a proper market town with shops and places to eat. The train from there gets you into Liverpool in just over half an hour.
Burscough is four miles. The wharf there has a mix of arty shops and cafes. For the coast, Southport is about half an hour's drive. Crosby Beach is about the same, good for walks with the Antony Gormley statues. The Lake District is just over an hour if you fancy that.
Facilities: parking on site, a garden, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. No pets.
