Stuarts Farm Barn
Stuarts Farm Barn is in Brighouse Green, just outside Lathom. It's a detached barn conversion. You can't miss the views from here, you get a proper look out over the fields towards the Lake District and Pennines on a clear day.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It feels spacious, with underfloor heating downstairs. There's a shared indoor swimming pool on the farm you can use, and your own private hot tub outside.
The location is quiet but not remote. There's a pub that does food about a fifteen minute walk away. You can start walks right from the door.
Ormskirk is two miles away. It's a proper market town with shops, places to eat, and a train station. You can get a direct train into Liverpool city centre in just over half an hour.
Burscough is four miles. Burscough Wharf there has arts, crafts, and food under one roof. Southport, with its long beach, is about half an hour's drive. Crosby Beach, with the Antony Gormley statues and coastal path, is about the same.
For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
