Buttercup Cottage Bangor's Green

This is Buttercup Cottage. It’s on Bangor's Green, near Halsall. A quiet lane. Semi-detached.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it's a bit more polished and comfortable. There's a proper kitchen and a private garden.

Down the lane is a leisure complex. It has a really nice indoor swimming pool that you get private use of. You book a time slot. It's warm, and it's a decent size for a proper swim.

The village is small and quiet. The sunsets are good. There's a pub and a shop about half a mile away. There's another gastro pub about a twenty-minute walk. You can get canal boat trips from there too, which some people enjoy.

For walking or cycling, the Leeds and Liverpool Canal path is right there. You can follow it for miles.

The train station in Town Green is close. You can get into central Liverpool in about half an hour. That's handy for a day out. Southport is about eight miles away. Beach, promenade, the usual seaside things. The National Trust protects a lot of the coast around there.

Ormskirk's a three mile drive. Market town with shops and cafes.

If you're into golf, Royal Birkdale is ten minutes away. Hurlston Hall is even closer, about two miles.

In the cottage there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. No pets.
