Privet Pod
Privet Pod is on our farm near Brighouse Green, in Lancashire. It's a detached pod, so you're on your own. It's glamping, so it's all one open-plan space with a bed, sofa, and kitchen area together.
It sleeps two, one bedroom. One shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. Because it's all one room, it's best for a couple, really.
The pod has its own patio and a private hot tub. You can see fields from it. On a clear day, you can see right out to the hills in the distance.
It's on a working farm, so you'll see us about with the animals sometimes. You've got your own parking space right by the pod.
You can walk straight out from the door into the countryside. There's a pub that does food about a fifteen minute walk away. Ormskirk is two miles off for shops and things. It's a proper market town. The train from there goes into Liverpool, which takes about thirty-five minutes.
Southport is about half an hour in the car. That's the seaside, with the beach and the pier. Crosby beach, with the Antony Gormley statues, is about the same distance. The Lake District is just over an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's a TV, WiFi, a shower, bedding and towels are included. There's a hob and a microwave. No pets, I'm afraid.
