Two The Stables is in Minishant, which is near Ayr. It's one of two cottages converted from old stables on our place. You're welcome to use the tennis court.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main house and the other cottage are nearby, but you've got your own separate space and garden.
The grounds go down to the river. You can start a walk from the door through the woods here.
A small local shop and restaurant is about half a mile away. The nearest pub is four miles. For a bigger shop or a night out, Ayr is about ten minutes drive. It's a proper seaside town with a racecourse. The beach is about five miles.
You're right in Burns country. Alloway, where Burns' Cottage and the Brig o' Doon are, is very close.
The Ayrshire coast path is on your doorstep. You can walk for miles. The views over to Arran are good. You might see seals.
There are a lot of golf courses around here. Turnberry is about twenty minutes drive. For a day out, Culzean Castle is worth a visit, and Dumfries House isn't far either.
You can get a ferry to Arran from Ardrossan. Glasgow is about an hour's drive if you want a city day.
Facilities: there's a wood burning stove, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs.
