Charlotte Street
Charlotte Street is a second floor apartment in Ayr. It's on the sea front, and you're in the centre of town, but the view from the living room is just the sea. You can hear it from the windows.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. It's not huge, but it's enough for a family or two couples.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You have access to a shared garden area at the back.
You don't need the car for most things. The beach is literally across the road. The shops, restaurants, and pubs are all a few minutes' walk away.
For golfers, Turnberry is about a 20 minute drive south. Prestwick and Troon are closer.
If you want to get out of town, Culzean Castle is about 15 minutes south. It's National Trust for Scotland, so the grounds are superb for a walk. Culzean Castle.
The Ayrshire Coastal Path starts nearby if you want a proper walk. You can get ferries to Arran from Ardrossan, which is about half an hour away. Glasgow is less than an hour by train from Ayr station.
