Dairy Cottage Maybole

Dairy Cottage is a one bedroom place near Maybole. It sleeps two, perfect for a couple. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s semi-detached, part of a converted farm steading.

You’re in the countryside here. It’s quiet. There’s a private garden area with seating. Parking is right outside.

Inside, it’s one bedroom with a double bed and one bathroom. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. It’s got the things you’d expect: TV, wifi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them.

Maybole is a couple of minutes drive for shops and things. For a beach, you’d drive to Maidens, about ten minutes away. You can walk from there along the sand and up into the Culzean Castle estate. The views from the cliffs over to Arran are really something.

The Ayrshire Coastal Path runs right past here if you like walking. Golf is a big deal locally. Turnberry is close by, and Royal Troon isn't far either.

If you fancy a day trip, Galloway Forest Park is about half an hour away. It’s huge, good for walking and wildlife. They’re known for dark sky stargazing too. Glasgow is less than an hour by car, or you can get the train from Prestwick or Troon.
