Buckbarrow is in Nether Wasdale, in the Western Lakes. It's a first-floor apartment in a converted building. You're about five minutes' walk from Wastwater itself.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after. The decor is modern.
You're right in the middle of the fells. Straight out of the door you've got Scafell Pike, Great Gable, that whole high range. It's walking and climbing country. There's good local fishing too.
The coast isn't far. St Bees has a long sandy beach and an RSPB reserve. Whitehaven's a town with a harbour. For something different, you've got Muncaster Castle or the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway.
The nearest shop is about six miles away in Gosforth, so you'll want to bring your supplies. There's a decent pub, the Screes, two and a half miles down the lane. They do food.
For facilities: it's open plan inside. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site. There's a patio area. No pets allowed.
