Buckbarrow is in Nether Wasdale. It's a first-floor apartment about five minutes' walk from Wastwater lake.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The stairs inside the apartment are a narrow spiral. You just need to be a bit careful on them.
You get a good view of the fells from here. Scafell Pike and Great Gable are right there. It's a good spot for starting a walk. You're also not far from the Cumbrian coast.
The nearest shop is about six miles away in Gosforth, so you need to come prepared. There's a pub and a restaurant about two and a half miles away.
If you want to explore, St Bees beach is about a 25-minute drive. Whitehaven and the Ravenglass railway are also within half an hour. For a day out, you've got Muncaster Castle nearby.
For facilities: it has parking, a garden area, WiFi, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
