The Cottage
The Cottage is in Gosforth village. It's a three bedroom place, sleeps six. Two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The village is quiet. There's a local pub a short walk away. The coast at Seascale is about three miles.
The main thing is you're in the western Lake District. Wasdale and Wastwater are a fifteen minute drive. Great Gable and Scafell Pike are right there. For walking, it's very good. Eskdale is also close.
If you want to go further, the Sellafield visitor centre is nearby. Ravenglass and its railway are about twenty minutes away. You can drive to Coniston or Ambleside in roughly half an hour.
The house has an enclosed garden, parking for two cars, and a woodburning stove. It has a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.
