The Beach House is a big house by the sea in Seascale. It's detached. You get the whole place, obviously. It sleeps up to 18, which is unusual.
There are nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-equipped and in good order. The stairs are normal. Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, which is handy.
The main reason you'd book it is for a big group. A family do, or a group of friends. There are two living rooms and three kitchens, so people can spread out. The main sitting room has an open fire. Upstairs, there's a games room with a pool table that flips to air hockey.
The garden is enclosed. There's a patio with outdoor furniture and a hot tub. The lawn looks out to sea.
You're right on the coast. The beach is a couple of hundred yards away. It's a pebble beach. Seascale itself has a shop and pubs. The train station is very close, which is useful. The local golf course is good.
For bigger days out, you're on the edge of the Lake District. Wasdale and Eskdale are a short drive inland. Scafell Pike is accessible from here. Muncaster Castle is about ten minutes away by car. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway is nearby.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding is included. You can bring up to four dogs. A cot is available.
