Tarrant Valley House is in Tarrant Launceston. It's a proper farmhouse, sleeps twelve. There are six bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. Two dogs are allowed. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well maintained and has everything.
The house is big, good for a family get-together or a group of friends. The garden is walled, very private. There's an orchard and a lawn. Kids like the tree swing and there are games provided.
Inside, there's a kitchen with an Aga and all the kit. The dining room has big doors that open onto the terrace. The main living room has a huge sofa, an open fire, and a bar area. There's a separate sitting room too, a bit quieter.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are all en-suite. Three of them have freestanding baths as well as showers. They all have TVs.
There's an indoor swimming pool and a sauna in a separate building. That's a big draw, especially if the weather's bad. There's also a Sonos system for music, and a Wii console.
You can walk to the village pub in about five minutes. It's a quiet Dorset village. For a bigger shop, Blandford Forum is the nearest town.
The coast is about half an hour's drive. You've got Poole Harbour and Studland Beach that way. Inland, the Dorset heaths and Kingston Lacy are worth a visit. Studland is good for a long beach walk.
In terms of what's here: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. WiFi. Parking for several cars. There's a BBQ. Everything is included in the price.
