Stillness Hut is in Langton Long Blandford. It's a wooden cabin for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's 4 Star which means it's comfortable and modern.
The place is open plan, so it's just one main room with the kitchen, living area and bed all together. It's not huge, but it's enough for a couple. There's a patio area outside with a table, chairs and a barbecue. You're right in the middle of fields, so it's very quiet. You can see the stars at night.
For facilities, you've got a dishwasher, a TV, WiFi, and parking right next to the hut. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them, but strictly no pets.
It's proper countryside. The nearest pub is a couple of miles away in Blandford St. Mary, and the shop is about two and a half. You'll want a car.
Blandford Forum is two miles away. It's a nice market town with the usual shops and places to eat. Kingston Lacy, the National Trust house, is about fifteen minutes by car. It's a good day out. National Trust Kingston Lacy.
The Jurassic Coast is about forty minutes' drive. You can walk from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door. It's busy in summer but it's worth seeing. The New Forest is about the same distance in the other direction if you fancy seeing the ponies.
The stairs to the sleeping area are more like a ladder, steep and open-tread. You need to be okay with that.
