Tarrant Valley House is on a working farm in Tarrant Launceston. It's a big old farmhouse that sleeps up to 16 people.
There are eight bedrooms, and every single one has its own bathroom. That's the main thing. No queues in the morning. Three of those bathrooms have a freestanding bath as well as a shower.
The kitchen is big and has an Aga. The dining room has these large glass doors that open onto the terrace. The main living room has a huge corner sofa and an open fire. There's a separate, slightly more formal sitting room as well.
Outside, there's a big walled garden with lawn, garden games, and an enclosed orchard with a little play area for kids. There's also an indoor swimming pool and a sauna on the property.
It's not just the one building. The booking includes two separate units. One is a ground-floor apartment next to the main house. The other is a two-storey house opposite that sleeps two. Both have their own outdoor baths.
The village pub is about a five-minute walk away. For bigger shops, Blandford Forum is your nearest town.
You can bring two dogs. There's parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
If you're planning days out, the National Trust for Dorset site is useful. For information on the area, Visit Dorset is the official site.
