This is Apartment 4. It's part of The Olde Smithy Apartments in Burslem, one of the old towns in Stoke-on-Trent. The building used to be a pub. It's on a main road, so it's a town centre location, not a quiet village.
It sleeps six in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so comfortable and clean but not luxury. It's open plan.
There's no parking at the apartment itself. There's a public car park a few hundred metres away. You'll get bedding and towels. There's a TV and WiFi.
Burslem is the heart of the Potteries. You can walk to local pubs, shops, and places to eat. The history is all ceramics. You're close to Middleport Pottery, the Gladstone Pottery Museum, and the Emma Bridgewater Factory if you want to see that sort of thing.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got a few big days out. Alton Towers is the main one. Trentham Gardens and the Monkey Forest are about 15 minutes away. WaterWorld, the big indoor water park, is only 10 minutes drive.
If you want countryside, the southern part of the Peak District is maybe 40 minutes away. The Peak District National Park site has walking routes.
The apartments can be booked together for bigger groups. No pets.
