Parlour Cottage is in Evershot, near Dorchester. It used to be a milk parlour for the farm. You can see the fields right out the window, all the way to the horizon.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower, which has grab rails fitted. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well set-up.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a wood burner effect fire that runs on electricity, so it's easy. The garden is enclosed and peaceful, with a table and chairs.
You're right in the countryside here. You can walk straight out the door onto footpaths. Dorchester is about a 15-minute drive. It's a proper market town, with a good museum and connections to Thomas Hardy. The Jurassic Coast is within half an hour. Weymouth beach is that way, or you can go to Charmouth for fossils. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are spectacular.
If you want to explore inland, the National Trust has places like Hardy's Monument for walks. The Tank Museum at Bovington and Monkey World are also close by if you need a day out with kids.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking right outside, bedding and towels are included. The garden is yours. Sorry, no pets.
