The Vinery
The Vinery is on the edge of Leaton Knolls, a small hamlet just outside Shrewsbury. It's a converted glass house from an old walled garden. You can still see some of the old brickwork and vents.
It sleeps three, but really, it's best for two. There's a bedroom on the ground floor and a sofa bed up on the mezzanine, which is more of a reading corner than a proper room. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need.
The layout is open-plan downstairs, with a wood burner. There's a Smart TV with Netflix. Outside, you get a private patio and you're free to wander around the grounds, including the little vineyard it's named after.
The entrance and the wet room are wheelchair accessible. There are grab rails by the toilet. The parking is right outside.
Shrewsbury is about ten minutes' drive. Good for a wander, some shopping, or a meal. There's a pub within walking distance, maybe a ten-minute stroll.
If you want to get out, you've got a few options close by. Attingham Park is nearby for a walk and a look around the house. Stokesay Castle is about twenty minutes south. The Shropshire Hills are within half an hour if you want proper walking.
It's got the usual things: WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels are included. No pets.
