La Belle Roulotte

For getting out, you're right on the edge of the South Downs. You can walk straight out onto paths from here. National Trust South Downs has walking routes. Ditchling Beacon is a short drive or a decent walk. The views from there are good.
Brighton is about twenty minutes by car, or you can get the train from Hassocks. Clayton itself is small. Hurstpierpoint and Ditchling are nearby villages with shops and pubs.
