The Old Surgery is in Ditchling village. It used to be the doctor's surgery. It's for two people, one bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's on one level inside, but you get to it from the street by going down a flight of stairs. So it might not work if stairs are a problem.
The living room is spacious. The kitchen's at the back and has what you need. There's a kingsize bed. Off the bedroom is the shower room.
You're right in the middle of things. The village pub, a deli, and a newsagent are about fifty yards away. It's a proper old Sussex village with Tudor buildings. The owners live next door and you can use a bit of their garden to sit out.
Ditchling Beacon is less than half a mile away. It's a steep walk up, but the views are worth it. The South Downs Way runs right through it, so you can start a long walk from the doorstep. For a bigger day out, Brighton is about eight miles south. Lewes is seven miles east, it's got a castle and is the county town.
Facilities: there's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and bedding and towels are included. There's also bicycle storage. No pets.
