Polecat Barn Plumpton Green

Polecat Barn is in Plumpton Green. It's a converted barn. It's quiet and looks out over fields.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The kitchen is open plan with the living area.

There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The stairs to the master bedroom are steep. That bedroom is on the first floor. The bathroom is next to it, but it doesn't have a proper door, just a partition wall. Something to know if you're travelling with friends. The second bedroom with twin beds is on the ground floor.

You can bring two dogs. There's a patio area outside with a BBQ. Parking is on site.

The village has a shop and a pub. Lewes is about ten minutes by car. It's a good town for pottering about, with a castle and independent shops.

The South Downs are right there for walking. The coast and Brighton are half an hour's drive away. If you're interested in local history, Devil's Dyke is nearby and managed by the National Trust.
